Active Ingredient
A hot steamy pie out the oven is how fresh we are! But why only have one pie when you can stick your finger in many others, thats just what we are like.. Hot, Steamy, Fresh and offer more than one flavour baby!
Active Ingredient is a punkadelic band that "officially" started 2007. We have had a slow start trying to find the perfect ingredients for the band and well, it looks like we got it now! We got Troy Kagan our human beat boxer, Jason Matthews who plays the phat 4, Adrian Rogowski who plays the skinny 6, and last but not least Dean Kagan who is our very own word muncher! Together, we all have a unique flavour to the band with a very diverse taste in music. We focus on punk because the sun rotates around it, but we just love Upbeat, energetic music, and we incorporate other types of music into the punk.
Active Ingredient was started by guitarist Adrian Rogowski, with a drummer (not Troy) and a friend backing up as a singer. The band was making no progress and the addition of the first bassist did not help either (This was the very beginning, about +- 4 years ago)
Eventually Dean Kagan became the new singer, and has managed to still captivate us, he remains our singer! eventually we got rid of the old bassist and Adrian found a friend (Matthew) whom he taught a little bass, and invited him to the band! The band was making steady progress, but it was only the addition of one of our most appreciated members (Troy Kagan) that really allowed this band to develop, and the song creation process just took off, this was during the early stages of 2007! The band had begun!
During Late 2007 our bassist Matthew had to unfortunately leave the band, however we managed to find a new bassist Jason Matthews, who offered more than just low frequencies, his dedication and passion for the band is what had cemented him into the band!
We have endured many changes in the band, but it has finally come to an end! As we have got the right ingredients for our musical pie!
