3 Kisses

Having performed 275 shows for over 250,000 people in 12 states since they got their start in January 2004, the buzz surrounding 3 Kisses is growing exponentially. Incorporating alt/pop/punk/rock 3 Kisses serve up their own unique blend of Texas Party Punk with a positive party vibe. Says Dan Workman, President of SugarHill Studios, "They completely own the audience with their punkish 'cuddle-angst.' Their songs are based on fun and intelligent mock anger - pierced tongue-in-cheek anthmes to annoyance that everyone in the audience can relate to and smile about." Sponsored by Paul Reed Smith Guitars, Daisy Rock Guitars, Dunlop, Sam Ash Music Stores, Jagermeister, Miller Lite, Coffin Case, WB Custom Pickups, Old Dog Products, Knucklehead Strings and Dirtbag Clothing, this band is getting a lot of attention!

Texas Party Punk band, 3 Kisses, jumps from one high energy style to another with traces of just about every cool female-fronted rock band of the last 20 years. They have been compared to an array of artists including the Cranberries, Luscious Jackson, the Breeders, Joan Jett, Letters to Cleo, Wendy O. Williams, Blondie, the Donnas and even punk rock icons the Ramones and Buzzcocks. 3 Kisses' live performance has been called 'freakin' explosive' and lead singer/guitarist Tish Meeks has been referred to as 'a ball of fire on stage.' Along with husband, Tony Meeks (guitar, PK5A bass pedals), Tish launched 3 Kisses in Austin, TX, in January 2004. Since then, they have performed over 275 live shows for over 250,000 people. Tish and Tony Meeks were recently featured on the ABC Reality TV show 'Wife Swap' where the band performed for close to 15 million television viewers.

An idiosyncratic combination of alt/pop/punk/rock filled with catchy guitar hooks and introspective lyrics, the heartfelt vocals and positive party vibe make the songs of 3 Kisses addicting. Martin Folkman, Publisher of the Musician's Atlas writes, "3 Kisses is fronted by the kinetic Tish Meeks who no guitar, mic stand or stage can contain. This band packs more energy into a 3-minute song than all the WMD's combined!" Madalyn Sklar, founder of GoGirlsMusic.com, calls 3 Kisses' live show, "An exhilarating mix of pop tunes that keep you wanting more. Front woman Tish Meeks has a way of grabbing your attention and not letting it go."

In addition to their regular tour schedule, 3 Kisses supports breast cancer research by performing at Susan G. Komen Races across the state of Texas. Tish's original story, Legacy, about the loss of her mother to breast cancer, appeared in Jack Canfield & Mark Victor Hansen's 'Chicken Soup for the Recovering Soul' in December 2004.

3 Kisses has been featured multiple times on the Fox 7 Morning Show in Austin, TX; WOAI-NBC in San Antonio, TX; KTRK-ABC in Houston, TX; KLBJ 93.7 FM in Austin, TX; Indie-Music.com, Female Musician Magazine, One Way Magazine, Origivation Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, The Macon Telegraph, The Brenham Banner Press, The College Station Eagle, EDGE Magazine and The Austin American Statesman. They were inducted into the Independent Artist Registry in 2006.

The band premiered their first music video 'Yellow' in September 2004, released their debut CD 'Wings' in November 2004, and released their sophomore album 'It All Comes Down To Me' in June 2006, which they followed up with an East Coast Tour. Their 3rd album 'Nut Job' was released in May 2007. Other notable performances include multiple showcases during SXSW in Austin, TX, Millennium Music Conference 9 & 10 in Harrisburg, PA, Garage Stock 2005 in Salem, MO, Independent Music Conference in Philadelphia, PA, Dewey Beach Music Fest in Dewey Beach, DE and Austin's Heart of Texas Quadruple Bypass Festival.
